The Australian Auto Sport Alliance (AASA) today announced an all-new Australian Rally Championship for 2008. The AASA Australian Rally Championship next year has five events to be held in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria and is focussed on providing a series that is inclusive of all competitors. The Championship heralds a new era in welcoming competitors of all levels to be treated equitably and automatically score points for the series. There are no championship registration fees, no separation of competitors into piggy-back events, equal access to all service facilities and no requirement to contest every single round. |
